Special Education Teacher Opportunities Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students and making a real impact in a collaborative school environment. Two opportunities are available for credentialed Special Education Teachers to provide essential coverage for teachers currently on leave. These contract positions are located near Citrus Heights, CA, with assignments in Rocklin. You'll work with small groups of students in a nurturing setting, providing instruction and support in line with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). With start dates as soon as possible and coverage needed until the current teachers return, flexibility and adaptability are essential.
Active California Moderate to Severe Special Education credential (required) Experience with elementary students, TK–4th grade strongly preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and classroom management skills Dedication to cultivating a positive and supportive learning environment
Your
Will Include:
Delivering individualized instruction for either TK–1st or 2nd–4th grade students (each caseload: 7 students) Implementing IEPs and collaborating with related service providers and families Documenting student progress and participating in meetings as needed Creating engaging lessons and modifying materials to meet varying needs Fostering an inclusive classroom where every learner feels valued
