Accounts Receivable Specialist (Contract)

Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing organization that combines the resources of a global business with the collaborative feel of a close-knit team. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to provide critical support during a busy year-end period by helping clear a backlog of AR transactions and assisting with cash application activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on AR work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can quickly become a productive member of a supportive accounting team.
Process, reconcile, and clear Accounts Receivable transactions
Support cash application activities and related accounting functions
Investigate and resolve discrepancies within AR accounts
Assist with AR cleanup efforts and backlog reduction
Maintain accurate customer account records
Utilize Excel to analyze and organize financial data
Collaborate with accounting team members on additional projects as needed
Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
Required
Transactional accounting and/or bookkeeping background
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables
Ability to work independently after onboarding
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
