The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for creating a workable production schedule to produce make-to-stock finished goods, fill on-hand customer orders, and supply the replacement parts needed to meet inventory and customer service objectives.

What you'll do:
Create, review, and maintain the Master Planning Schedule and schedule equipment.
Work with management staff to optimize capacity planning.
Work with production and buying teams to provide the most reasonable lead time to customers.
Issue and maintain Shop Orders in advance of customer orders.
Verify material availability prior to initiating production.
Meet daily with key employees to stay informed of production rates and/or issues.
Provide input on process flow and help to increase efficiencies.
Answer customer service requests in accordance with responsiveness goals.
Monitor MRO spend and implement strategies for effective material management.
Actively lead the cycle counting program, driving the department to 95% accuracy.
Actively lead shipping and receiving functions, driving the department to 100% accuracy.
Serve as backup for warehouse responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
Build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to the production team.
Strong interpersonal communication skills; demonstrates a positive attitude and strong people skills.
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ERP system knowledge.
Creative thinking – find alternative methods to solve problems in the production area.
Problem solving – develop schedules that satisfy the customer as well as production goals.
Strong organizational skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Two or more years of experience in a scheduling or production control position.
