Engineering Manager
Morrisville, NC (Onsite)
Full-Time - Permanent Position
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering organization responsible for designing and delivering complex hardware and software products.
This is a leadership-focused role where you'll develop engineering talent, drive execution across multiple technical teams, and partner with senior technical leaders to ensure successful product delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with experience managing engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers in fast-paced product development environments.
Lead and develop engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers across multiple disciplines.
Drive project execution from concept through production readiness.
Manage schedules, priorities, risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
Partner with technical leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable plans.
Build and scale engineering teams through hiring, workforce planning, and organizational development.
Establish performance management processes, career development plans, and succession strategies.
Monitor delivery metrics and proactively address risks impacting timelines and objectives.
Represent engineering leadership in executive-level reviews and customer-facing discussions.
Required
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of engineering leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
Proven success leading hardware and/or software product development organizations.
Strong experience with hiring, performance management, coaching, and organizational growth.
Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States.
Preferred
Experience working with embedded systems, electronics, firmware, or software development teams.
Exposure to cybersecurity, systems integration, compliance, or regulated environments.
Experience in startup, defense, aerospace, robotics, or advanced technology organizations.
