Inside Sales/Lead Generation

Miller Transfer · Rootstown, Ohio

FULL TIME

Job Description

Big Freight. Bigger Opportunity.

Inside Business Development Representative | Miller Transfer | Rootstown, Ohio

Are you a hunter who is tired of selling something you cannot stand behind?

You are good on the phone. You like the chase. You know how to open doors and start real conversations. But somewhere along the way the company you are selling for stopped being something worth showing up for. That is about to change.

Here Is What Your Day Looks Like at Miller Transfer

You are not grinding through a script. You are not racing to the bottom on price. You are not apologizing for what you sell.

You are calling on manufacturers, contractors, utilities, and industrial companies who need a carrier they can trust with their most complex and critical freight. They have heard of Miller Transfer. They respect the name.

Your job is to find them, start the conversation, and hand our sales team a qualified opportunity ready to close. You hunt. We close. You get paid.

You Will Thrive Here If

You actually like the phone -- not tolerate it -- genuinely like it

You keep score -- you know your numbers and you want them to go up

You do not need someone standing over you to make calls

You build rapport fast and sound like a real person not a script

You want your effort to directly drive your paycheck

You are ready to sell something you can actually be proud of

What Is In It For You

Performance incentives that reward your hustle

-- your effort directly drives your earnings

Competitive base pay

Medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance

401(k) with company match plus FSA and paid time off

Miller Transfer has moved the Wrigley Field sign. The Detroit Tiger statues. Transformers, generators, oversized fabrications, and data center components that most carriers will not touch. When you represent us you are representing 55 years of doing the hard jobs right.

That is something worth picking up the phone for.

If this sounds like the opportunity you have been looking for -- we want to hear from you.

Send your resume to hr@millertransfer.com or apply directly through this posting.

We review every application personally and will be in touch.

Miller Transfer is an equal opportunity employer. All candidates must pass a pre-employment background screening including drug testing.
