Mechanical Process Engineer We’re seeking a motivated Mechanical Process Engineer (0–3 years’ experience) to support process development, system optimization, and equipment design in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who wants hands-on exposure to real-world factory systems and process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing P&IDs, mechanical layouts, and equipment designs. Support design and optimization of systems such as conveyors, air handling, HVAC, paint booths, heat exchangers, and process ovens. Conduct time studies, airflow simulations, and thermal balancing analyses. Participate in site visits, equipment testing, and commissioning activities. Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), specifications, and technical documentation. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, controls, and project engineering teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD; SolidWorks experience preferred. Working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing systems. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel for project and site support (approximately 40%). Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based engineering role with approximately 40% travel to client sites or project locations. May occasionally require handling of light technical equipment or tools.
