Education is an open question. We are writing the answer, and we need one more person who can write it with us.

A lot is broken in how children are taught between the ages of eight and twelve. Everyone can see it. Few are willing to rebuild it.The Way Forward is a place built for exactly those years, and built from the ground up for the world that artificial intelligence has already created. Small live classes. Every lesson taught for understanding, through stories, comparisons and different points of view, so a child does not memorise a rule but sees why it must be true. Every decision in it was made with vision, passion, creativity and empathy, by a founder who still teaches: a polymath who blends teaching and entrepreneurship, a father of four, and a rare Dars-e-Nizami graduate by choice.We are growing fast, and we are looking for someone who is willing to experience the thrill of a growing startup. This is not a job for someone who wants a job. It is a seat on a founding team.

The role: Projects and Inquiry Teacher

Projects is where our children learn to think.You will spark curiosity, and then teach it to stand up straight: how to ask a better question, how to research properly, how to spot a weak argument, how to use AI to investigate a thing instead of copying an answer. Logical fallacies at nine years old. Curiosity-driven projects that provoke real thinking. Your work is not to deliver content. It is to shape the way a child’s mind moves.In Projects, children take on real, hands-on projects of their own choosing: running a small stall at an entrepreneurship fair, or researching a brand idea in the community and turning it into a short video. The lessons centre on genuine inquiry. Children go out and gather information first-hand, what we call field work, then bring it back to share and reflect on as a class, often leading the discussion themselves while the teacher guides from the side. They learn a simple method for spotting weak reasoning: name the claim, check the reasoning behind it, and ask what evidence is missing, then practise it on real examples. They use AI tools to understand ideas, and they write their answers in their own words.This role asks for more than a subject expert. It asks for a true teacher in spirit: someone who brings years of experience, real thought and reflection to the class, and who will do whatever it takes for children to become empowered with critical, logical and analytical thinking.

How the work is arranged

Full time. Live classes run from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm Pakistan time, breaks included, with up to four hours of live teaching a day on average.
Then a couple of hours of work at a time that suits you: checking student work, planning lectures, and building each child’s individual profile. We are a highly custom and exclusive platform, so this part matters as much as the class. Calls and follow-ups with parents fit around it.
Fully online. No commute: the hours and the fuel you save are yours. No hassle, no bureaucracy. We keep the occasional meeting in person. Everything else is passion, care and subject knowledge, delivered.
We pay our teachers well, and we mean to: enough that they can focus on what they love, which is teaching.
Here the teacher is the most precious thing we have, and everything else is built to protect their time and their focus. Our technology carries the operational weight: attendance, recordings, transcripts, the daily update to families, practice and a class assistant. We are building AI for education, and you will teach with it every day.

Who we are looking for

We want the best of the best, and we are not shy about it.

A seasoned teacher whose proven experience is in person, at leading schools in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad or anywhere else, with an interest in and comfort with teaching online.
An IB or equivalent teaching certification from a respected institution, and a degree in education. An MPhil is what we are looking for. If you are exceptional without all of it, make that case in your letter, and make it convincingly.
A leader’s profile. The right person can grow into supervising other teachers, and possibly into Head of Academics.
A real interest in technology. A background with software, an LMS, AI and educational tools, or awareness of the edtech landscape, is a strong plus.
A deep interest in early and middle years education, and the habit of learning from the children you teach. English and maths experience is a bonus.
The skill of talking to parents and handling a class of children, including parents who are themselves highly educated and care deeply about their children’s education. Gentleness with children, and politeness and patience with their parents.
Someone who manages personal life and professional responsibility well, and who can be a role model for the children through the way they live and the experience they bring from their own life.
Full focus and full responsibility through working hours, in a quiet place, with a good laptop and reliable internet.
