Direct Support Professional (DSP) $15.00 per hour | No experience needed | Paid training provided Make a difference in someones daily life while building a career with purpose. At CFI, youll help individuals with disabilities meet their everyday needs, enjoy activities, and work toward their personal goals for independence. Were looking for caring, compassionate people to join our family-run business. If you enjoy helping others, wed love to hear from you. No previous experience is required. We provide paid training to help you get started. People with experience as caregivers, direct care professionals, home health aides, or personal care assistants are also encouraged to apply. CFI is hiring for both Direct Support Professional and Home Manager positions. Interviews and hiring are beginning immediately. What Youll Do As a Direct Support Professional, youll provide hands-on care and encouragement to individuals with disabilities. Typical responsibilities include:
Providing direct care and assistance with personal hygiene and daily living needs. Helping with occasional light housekeeping and meal preparation. Providing light transportation. Assisting with leisure and recreational activities. Providing emotional and physical support and monitoring.
What Youll Need
A high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years old. Open availability, including evenings, overnights, and weekend shifts. Ability to pass a BCII or FBI background check. Ability to pass required abuser registry and nurse aide registry checks. A safe, acceptable vehicle that passes a CFI-provided vehicle safety check. A valid drivers license. A satisfactory driving record as defined by CFI, verified through a company-provided motor vehicle record (MVR) check. Vehicle insurance and proof of coverage. Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, and walk for periods of time.
