Description
Work from home four days a week and still lead electrical design on real buildings. Wednesday is your only required office day. You’d join an established, award-winning MEP consulting firm in Charlotte, leading design on commercial and institutional projects and mentoring the next generation of engineers.
What you’ll do
Lead electrical design for commercial and institutional buildings
Design power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems
Run QA/QC and manage projects from design through construction
Mentor junior engineers and designers
Coordinate with architects, mechanical and plumbing engineers, contractors and clients
What you bring
Active PE license
10+ years in commercial building design (less experience considered with strong technical skills)
AutoCAD and Revit
Solid command of electrical codes and a stable, long-term work history
Nice to have: healthcare projects, telecom/data design (RCDD), leading multidisciplinary teams.

Base around $140K, annual bonus (typically about one extra paycheck at first), raises up to 7.5%
