Accounting Manager

to lead general accounting activities, oversee the month-end close process, maintain financial controls, and support business growth initiatives. This is a 100% in office position based in Modesto, Ca.

Key

Responsibilities

Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting.

Oversee the Accounts Receivable team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure efficient cash collections, customer account management, and strong internal controls.

Support budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

Manage fixed assets, capital project accounting, and depreciation schedules.

Oversee sales and use tax filings, compliance reporting, and audit support.

Strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.

Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Prior experience leading or mentoring accounting staff

Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
