Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension/Conversion)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM (Flexible Closing Schedule)
We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to oversee medication dispensing, order verification, technician workflow, and pharmacy quality processes. The pharmacist will ensure prescription accuracy while maintaining service excellence in a dynamic pharmacy environment.
Key
Verify prescriptions and medication orders.
Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians.
Manage technician and production workflows.
Review completed orders for accuracy and compliance.
Calculate medication dosing and validate prescription accuracy.
Program and verify medication infusion pumps.
Support pharmacy operations and workflow efficiencies.
Train and mentor pharmacy staff when appropriate.
Maintain quality, compliance, and patient safety standards.
Required
Active Arizona Pharmacist (RPh) license in good standing.
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited program.
Ability to accurately interpret prescriptions.
Strong attention to quality and detail.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Active Pharmacist (RPh) license in applicable state.
PharmD or BS Pharmacy.
Experience in Retail, Specialty, Mail Order, Hospital, or Fulfillment Pharmacy settings.
Ability to work onsite and in a high-volume pharmacy environment.
Potential for contract extension and full-time conversion
