Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Surgical Floor Vermonts Northeast Kingdom. This night-shift role provides coordinated care for primarily adult patients, with occasional pediatric patients, in a general medical-surgical setting. The position supports medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care while applying the Nursing Process to address diverse patient needs.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Travelers start on Wednesdays. The assignment starts 11/09/2026.
Required Qualifications: At least 3 years of acute care experience; current Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) or multistate Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; required flu vaccination; reliable personal transportation.
Additional Information: Care is provided primarily to adults, with occasional pediatric patients. Responsibilities include comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care; coordination of patient care; collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team; and attention to patients age-related, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
