We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused
Customer Service Representative
to join a growing distribution company in
Nashville ,
TN . This position will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping manage orders, resolve issues, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure a positive customer experience from order placement through delivery.
The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and able to effectively balance customer needs with operational priorities.
Key
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding orders, product availability, shipping updates, and general inquiries
Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Track orders and provide customers with timely updates on shipment and delivery status
Coordinate with warehouse, distribution, purchasing, and sales teams to resolve order or inventory issues
Research and resolve customer concerns related to shortages, damaged products, incorrect shipments, returns, or delivery delays
Maintain accurate customer and order information within the company's ERP or order management system
Process returns, credits, and replacements as needed
Communicate professionally with customers by phone and email
Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal departments
Identify potential issues proactively and work toward timely solutions
Assist with additional administrative and customer service responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
1+ years of customer service, order management, distribution, logistics, or related experience preferred
Experience working within a distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environment is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to customer service
