Job Description

SLP Position in Oregon, Missouri Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a temporary assignment in Oregon, Missouri. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend. Responsibilities for a SLP:

Provide direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical unit Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team Document patient information using the electronic health record system Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals Maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification Work rotating weekends as part of the scheduled shift rotation Work 2 out of 3 major holidays Float to sister facilities as needed Work 5-8 hour shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 35 hours and scheduling up to 40 hours per week
