Non-profit AVP of Finance

Job Description

We are working with the Executive Team of a Non-profit in the Higher Education space, based in Bergen County, NJ. They are looking to bring on a dynamic AVP of Finance to join their team and function as the right-hand to the CFO. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounting, FP&A, and financial reporting

Lead annual budgeting process including development, planning, and consolidation.

Oversaw the month, quarter, and year-end closing processes

Maintain a strong internal control environment and serve as liaison to external auditors

Lead, supervise, and mentor accounting staff including Controller

Manage treasury including cash forecasting and liquidity

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA

8+ years of Accounting & Finance experience in the not-for-profit space

Controller within a non-profit OR public accounting experience with Higher Education clients

COMPENSATION

$155,000 - $175,000

BENEFITS
