About the role

Vantage Estimating provides construction cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid support for contractors across the United States.

We're looking for an experienced construction salesperson who can find potential clients, speak with decision-makers, and bring in paying projects.

Your responsibilities

Find and contact U.S. general contractors, specialty subcontractors, and builders.
Handle cold calls, prospecting emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups.
Speak with owners, estimating managers, and preconstruction teams.
Identify genuine estimating requirements and discuss potential projects.
Manage your prospects and follow-ups in a CRM.
Work with Vantage on project enquiries, proposals, and closing sales.

Required experience

At least 2 years of outbound sales experience selling services to U.S. construction companies.
Previous direct contact with U.S. contractors through sales calls and emails.
Excellent spoken and written English for U.S. business conversations.
Understanding of construction bidding, quantity takeoffs, or estimating services.
Experience finding your own prospects and turning conversations into paying clients.
Ability to take sales calls during U.S. business hours.

Compensation

Commission only: 30% of gross profit on qualifying paid projects from clients you personally acquire, during their first 12 months as Vantage clients.

Gross profit means collected project revenue minus direct project delivery costs. Commission eligibility and payment terms will be confirmed in writing.

This is remote, project-based independent contractor work, with no fixed salary or guaranteed earnings.

Selection process

Shortlisted applicants will be asked to explain their previous U.S. construction sales experience and complete a short live sales call exercise in English.

We're looking for someone who has already done this kind of work, not someone looking for their first sales position.
