Job Description

Contract Recruitment Consultant: Miami Xcede USA

Contract Team
Downtown Miami (100 N Biscayne Blvd)
Full-time, office-based

Xcede is a specialist technology recruitment and staffing firm with deep roots in the SaaS vendor market. We place contract and permanent talent across engineering, data, security, cloud and go-to-market (GTM) teams for software vendors, scale-ups and enterprise technology functions. Our US office in Miami is established and growing, and the contract team is a core part of that growth.

You will build and run a desk of technology contractors and the clients that hire them. This is a full-cycle role: you win the business, find and qualify the talent, negotiate the rate, place the contractor and look after them for the length of the contract. Contract is a recurring-revenue business. Every contractor you place who extends is revenue you keep earning.

You will work directly with the Director of the team and alongside experienced contract billers, with real autonomy over your desk from early on.

What you will do:

Call contractors and freelancers across cloud, data and AI, security, engineering and GTM roles, and build a network you stay in regular contact with Win new business by calling hiring managers, engineering and GTM leaders and procurement teams at US software and technology companies Take and qualify requirements, agree rates and terms, and negotiate your margin with both sides Match the right contractor to the right role and manage them through interview, offer and onboarding Look after your contractors for the length of the contract: compliance paperwork, timesheets, extensions and redeployment Source through LinkedIn, Bullhorn, referrals and your own network Work to weekly and monthly targets, and keep your activity and pipeline current in the CRM Over time, build your own specialist market, client base and desk

What we are looking for: Essential

1+ years of recruitment experience, ideally in technology contract or staffing (strong graduates with sales or client-facing experience will be considered) Evidence of hitting targets in a commercial or sales environment Comfortable on the phone and in front of clients; confident at cold outreach and business development Resilient, organised and driven by results Authorised to work in the United States

Desirable

Experience recruiting in the US market, including W2, 1099 and corp-to-corp contractor models Knowledge of software, SaaS or GTM hiring Familiarity with Bullhorn or a similar CRM
