StevenDouglas has been retained by our Wealth Management client to identify a Senior Tax Wealth Strategist. The work is advisory and forward-looking: projections, Roth and realization sequencing, charitable structuring, entity and compensation design, multi-state and residency planning, and owner transaction planning. These outputs are delivered on a year-round calendar rather than in a filing-season scramble. The measure of the role is the tax outcome a client would not have reached on their own.
TL;DR This is an opportunity to get out of the billable hour and tax season grind. This role is designed for a planning practitioner rather than a compliance producer.
This is a working leadership role on the partner track, Other people on the growing Wealth Strategy team include: a Senior Tax Advisor who serves as mentor and technical sounding
board, a Wealth Strategist covering trust and estate tax reporting, and one to two analysts supporting return preparation.
