Laboratory Technician- Mount Olive, NJ- Research Laboratory

Key

Responsibilities

Follow approved SOPs, methods, GLP requirements, government guidelines, and laboratory safety practices.

Accurately document work performed and communicate progress, observations, or concerns to laboratory staff and study directors.

Prepare routine solutions and reagents; wash glassware; maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization; and ensure supplies are accessible.

Support sample preparation and processing, including weighing, extraction, separation, concentration, and centrifugation.

Operate standard laboratory equipment and glassware; perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration as trained, including balances and pipettes.

Learn and apply procedures supporting environmental fate, metabolism, physicochemical, residue, and bioanalytical studies.

Required

Qualifications

Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Hands-on laboratory experience; experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory is preferred but not required.

Familiarity with laboratory tools and techniques such as balances, pipettes, sample weighing, extractions, and centrifugation is beneficial.

Ability to follow detailed procedures, maintain accurate records, and attend carefully to experimental details.
