Key
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages.
Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases and vision conditions.
Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
Provide medical optometry services, including therapeutic pharmaceutical management.
Deliver pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
Identify and communicate systemic health concerns that may impact ocular health.
Educate patients on eye health, vision correction, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within EMR/EHR systems.
Collaborate with clinical and support staff to ensure outstanding patient experiences.
Required
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
Active Alaska Optometry License or eligibility for licensure in Alaska.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
