Our client is a Global Asset Manager based in Chicago.

The role has a hybrid model of 3 days a week onsite, 2 days a week working from home.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle payroll operations, including U.S. (multi-state) and Canadian payroll.

Manage and mentor a team of two payroll professionals.

Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations; act as a subject matter expert on payroll tax issues.

Handle year-end tax reconciliations, including W-2s (U.S.) and T4s (Canada).

Partner with Accounting and HR leadership on payroll reporting and analysis.

Lead benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and claims management.

Maintain accuracy and efficiency in Workday payroll and benefits systems.

Core Competencies

8+ years of experience of Payroll Tax Experience

Must have Multi Tax Payroll Experience - US & Canada

Extensive and thorough knowledge of federal, multi-state, and local wage and hour, garnishment, and tax regulations

Must have managerial experience

Must have Workday Experience

Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel

The annual base salary range is $95,000 to $110,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
