Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), working one-on-one with a high school student with Down syndrome in a supportive school environment. Current RBT certification required Experience working in school settings or with adolescents preferred Strong background supporting individuals with Down syndrome or special needs Demonstrated ability to implement behavior intervention plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams Compassion, patience, and adaptability in dynamic educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct 1:1 behavioral support and interventions for a high school student with Down syndrome Implement individualized behavior strategies as outlined in treatment and education plans Collect data and track student progress to share with supervising BCBAs and school teams Support academic and social development during classroom and community activities Maintain clear and detailed documentation on student behaviors and outcomes Communicate effectively with teachers, therapists, and family members to ensure consistency of care
