About Relatable
Relatable is the company behind What Do You Meme?, Hugimals World, Emotional Support Pals, Happy Helpers, and HAK. We make games, plush, and products that bring people together, usually while they’re laughing. Our products live in major retailers around the world, and our content lives on the phones of millions of people who think they found us by accident.
We take fun seriously. We just don’t take ourselves seriously.
Position Summary
We’re looking for a funny, curious Content Creator Intern who wants to learn how brand content gets made at speed. You’ll work side by side with our content creators to concept, script, film, and edit short-form video and static content across our brands. You’ll be on camera regularly, filming content with our creators and helping turn our products into videos people actually want to watch and send to a friend.
This is a hands-on role. You won’t be watching from the sidelines. You’ll leave with real published work in your portfolio and a working understanding of how a consumer brand builds an audience online.
What You’ll Learn and Do
Film on camera alongside our content creators, appearing in sketches, trends, and product videos across our brands
Learn how to concept and script short-form video, from the first idea to the final hook
Shoot and edit content for social platforms using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools, with guidance from the team
Learn how to spot trends, memes, formats, and viral sounds early, and how to adapt them to each brand’s voice
Write hooks, captions, and on-screen copy for brands ranging from party-game chaos to cozy, family-friendly content
Get regular feedback on your work and learn how to apply it to the next round of content
Learn how to read performance data, understand what lands, and adjust your approach
See how Social, Brand, Paid, Influencer, TikTok Shop, and Creative teams work together to launch products and campaigns
Help keep raw footage, final files, and published content organized so the team can find and reuse assets
Pitch your own ideas for new series, formats, and recurring bits
What You Bring
A portfolio, reel, or social handle that shows your sense of humor and creativity
Comfort appearing and speaking on camera
Strong comedic instincts and an interest in writing and timing
Familiarity with a phone camera and at least one editing tool, or a strong desire to learn
Fluency in internet culture and platform trends
Openness to feedback and a willingness to cut a joke that isn’t working
Reliability, organization, and follow-through on deadlines
A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever the team needs help
Bonus Points
Interest in games, toys, or consumer products
A personal account with a following, or a video that went further than you expected
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in film, media, communications, marketing, or a related field
