Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Make an immediate impact by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a welcoming school setting near Lewiston, ME! In this dynamic role, you'll enjoy a consistent weekly schedule of 27.5-30 hours, working closely with students, teachers, and staff to reinforce individualized behavior plans. Current RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification required Prior experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred Understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families Reliability, patience, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of BCBA and school personnel Collect and monitor data on student behavior and progress Support students individually or in small groups throughout the school day Maintain a positive, encouraging environment that empowers students Communicate observations and progress to supervising staff and family members Adapt instructional approaches as needed to meet student goals
