We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting functions across multiple regions. This role requires a strong understanding of U.S. accounting standards, financial reporting, and operational finance within a dynamic, creative environment. The Accounting Manager will lead a team ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements to support our global growth.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the U.S. accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and intracompany transactions.

Ensure compliance with local, regional, accounting standards.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, commercial, IT, and operations to support business initiatives.

Manage and develop the accounting team, providing mentorship, training, and performance feedback.

Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Stay current with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements affecting the industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a global organization.

Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.

Experience in the retail industry is a plus.

Proven ability to lead and develop diverse teams across multiple regions.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency with ERP systems and financial reporting software. NetSuite preferred.

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

This role is on-site 5 days a week.

Compensation:

$130,000-$150,000 plus bonus
