Responsibilities

Include

Oversee the general ledger accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP or other applicable accounting standards.

Prepare and distribute the monthly close calendar, monitoring and ensuring that the deliverables and deadlines are met via a close checklist.

Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, preparation and uploading of journal entries to Net Suite, and preparation of internal financial statements.

Manage financial transactions, including assets, liabilities, equity, expenses, prepaids, and accruals.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with Big Four experience, in both public/private industries.

Expertise in GAAP, revenue recognition (ASC 606), tax regulations, and financial systems.

Proven experience in leading general ledger operations and managing a team within an accounting function.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.

CPA preferred
