Director of Quality
to lead enterprise-wide quality initiatives, drive operational excellence, and build a culture where quality is embedded in every aspect of the business.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing the quality strategy across manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering, product development, and customer-facing functions. The ideal candidate is an experienced manufacturing quality leader with a proven history of improving quality performance, strengthening customer satisfaction, reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and leading high-performing teams.
Develop and execute a long-term quality strategy aligned with business objectives and customer expectations
Lead and continuously improve an ISO 9001-based Quality Management System (QMS)
Establish quality governance, KPIs, reporting processes, and accountability across multiple sites and functions
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives that improve product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency
Lead customer quality, supplier quality, CAPA programs, root cause investigations, and corrective action effectiveness
Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Development, Sales, and Customer Service to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle
Serve as the executive point of contact for critical customer quality issues and regulatory or certification requirements
Build, mentor, and develop quality leaders and teams across the organization
Provide executive leadership with meaningful quality metrics, risk assessments, and improvement plans
What We're Looking For
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or related technical field
10+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
5+ years leading quality managers and/or multi-disciplinary quality teams
Demonstrated success leading quality across multiple facilities or complex manufacturing operations
Lean Manufacturing
Six Sigma
SPC and Process Capability
Root Cause Analysis
CAPA
FMEA
Supplier Quality Management
Change Management and New Product Introduction
Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field)
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt
Lead Auditor Certification
