Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Make a difference in the educational setting by providing essential support to students as a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Work collaboratively with educators and specialists to implement individualized behavior intervention plans, fostering meaningful progress for students in a dynamic school environment near Paterson, NJ. Key Qualifications:
Possess active RBT certification in good standing Experience working with children or students in behavioral health, special education, or similar settings Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and effective behavior intervention strategies Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families Demonstrated patience, reliability, and adaptability in fast-paced educational environments High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or completed coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver one-on-one and small group behavioral interventions under the supervision of BCBA/BCaBA Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress Assist in implementing individualized education programs and behavior support plans Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinicians to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral goals Model positive behavioral supports and promote a supportive learning atmosphere Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to maintain best practices
