Atlas Consultancy Group · Stafford, Virginia
We are working on behalf of a well established, AAHA accredited small animal hospital in Stafford, VA that is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. Privately owned and locally trusted for more than forty years, the practice has grown steadily under its current owners and is now recruiting as several long tenured doctors move toward retirement. The hospital runs out of a spacious, purpose built facility with six exam rooms opening onto a large central treatment area, with lab, radiology, surgery, surgery prep, and a dedicated special procedures room all close at hand. Doctors have digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in house IDEXX diagnostics, ultrasound, surgical and therapy lasers, and full surgical monitoring across surgery, dental, and treatment. Four licensed technicians support the doctor team and a licensed tech is scheduled for every surgery, so you can lean on your support staff rather than work around them. Full time here is four days a week, with a rotating Saturday counting as one of those four days, and shifts are staggered so no one routinely covers the full opening hours. There is no community on call rota and emergencies are referred to local ER partners. Appointments run twenty minutes for wellness visits and thirty minutes for sick and senior cases, with a day that is built to finish on time. The practice would love someone comfortable with surgery and dentistry, but will consider a strong appointment focused DVM, and new graduates are genuinely supported with mentorship from experienced colleagues and on site management. Compensation is base salary plus quarterly production, with no negative accrual.
