At JOCO, we empower gig workers and on-demand delivery platforms to complete last-mile deliveries by removing all the hassle of owning, storing, charging, and maintaining E-Bikes and other Light Electric Vehicles. We’re looking to hire an eBike Mechanic Manager to join our Miami team. The eBike Mechanic Manager will be responsible for owning entire segments of JOCO’s operations: ensuring 90% fleet availability; analyzing and leveraging data to drive continued operational efficiency; designing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures; managing a team of mechanics, and working closely with the rest of the company to provide best in class experiences for our customers.
What you will do
● Repair and conduct preventative maintenance on two-wheel and four-wheel Light Electric Vehicles. ● Manage a team of mechanics, overseeing sourcing, hiring, scheduling, training, compliance with SOPs, policy enforcement, and providing regular feedback.
● Design, implement, and optimize scalable processes to increase the efficiency of mechanics.
● Leverage digital tools and dashboards to accurately track productivity.
● Distribute daily reports to the Business team sharing productivity data, general observations, and feedback.
● Oversee inventory and introduce processes to ensure inventory quality control.
● Oversee upkeep of our various warehouses, including maintaining strict 5S layouts and cleanliness.
What you will need
● 4+ years of experience working in an Operations management role, with a track record of driving operational efficiency.
● Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team in a warehouse environment.
● Strong problem solving skills, capable of analyzing data to establish and address root causes.
● An exceptional work ethic, willingness to take responsibility, a drive to succeed, and the ability to adapt as the operation scales.
● Strong mechanical and technical aptitude. Familiarity with eBikes is a plus.
