Change Enablement Consultant

This contract opportunity is ideal for a change management professional who can lead multiple initiatives, engage stakeholders, and translate complex change into practical communication, training, and adoption strategies.

Pay Rate:

$55–$57/hour

Tampa, FL | On-site 4 days per week, 1 day work from home

Employment Type:

6-month contract, December 2026–May 2027

What You’ll Do

Lead change enablement activities across multiple projects, including large-scale and transformational initiatives.

Develop and execute change management strategies aligned with business objectives, including change impact, readiness, and stakeholder assessments.

Identify adoption risks, address resistance, and develop mitigation strategies that support successful organizational transitions.

Partner with project teams, HR, business leaders, and other stakeholders to build engagement and maintain consistent messaging.

Develop and execute communication and training plans that increase awareness, strengthen stakeholder buy-in, and encourage adoption.

Create change communications and resources such as FAQs, reference guides, workflows, videos, scripts, and training materials.

Identify training needs, coordinate with available training resources, and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions when appropriate.

Track change deliverables, adoption metrics, resource needs, risks, and progress while providing regular updates to project stakeholders.

Provide change management guidance during project meetings and help strengthen change capabilities across project and program teams.

Job

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Change Management, Human Relations, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.

At least 3 years of related experience supporting organizational change initiatives with significant change management responsibility.

Experience supporting large and/or multiple strategic transformation programs from a change management or program management perspective.

Strong knowledge of change management principles and methodologies, along with project management, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders across organizational levels, and build productive working relationships.

Preferred Qualification

ACMP Practitioner certification or a similar change management certification.
