Position: RN - Wound Care
Bronx, NY
Local: up to $83/hr
Travel: Up to $3300/week
Seeking an experienced Wound Care RN to provide specialized care for patients with wounds, ostomies, and continence-related conditions. The nurse will conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, implement preventive measures, and educate patients, families, and clinical staff.
Key
Assess, treat, and document wounds, ostomies, fistulas, and continence-related conditions.
Develop and evaluate individualized plans of care and wound prevention strategies.
Assess patients at risk for pressure injuries and implement preventive interventions.
Educate patients, families, and clinical staff on wound care and complication prevention.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote best clinical practices.
Monitor wound care equipment and supplies, including specialty beds and negative-pressure wound therapy devices.
Required
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Active New York State RN License.
Current AHA BLS certification.
CWOCN – Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse
CWON – Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse
CWCN – Certified Wound Care Nurse
CWS – Certified Wound Specialist
WCC – Wound Care Certified
