Qualifications
-
Illinois licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Proven experience evaluating and treating communication disorders in a school setting
· Knowledge of IDEA and compliance documentation requirements

Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
· Strong collaboration and communication skills with school staff and families
Responsibilities

Evaluate students to identify speech, language, communication, or swallowing challenges

Conduct screenings and utilize standardized assessments for various communication areas
-
Create and execute individualized therapy plans to address diverse speech and language needs
-
Support students with augmentative communication devices and social communication difficulties
· Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student communication goals within classroom activities
