Job Title: Renewal Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Licensing Renewal Coordinator is charged with the responsibility of maintaining compliance with the laws, rules, policies, and procedures of renewal and reinstatement licensing of resident and non-resident insurance producers (agents/brokers) and consultants, and resident and non-resident Insurance agencies. The position accepts and reviews license renewal and reinstatement applications, including any civil, criminal, or administrative background documents, and makes determinations as to a candidate's eligibility for renewal of a license as governed through the laws, rules, and policies . The position advises candidates on the reinstatement process and requirements and tracks a candidate's reinstatement progress. The position also manages all communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding producer, consultant, and agency licensing renewal/reinstatement questions, concerns, or initiatives. The position will review, along with manager, continuing education (CE) due-date extension forms and CE retirement exemption forms; and may serve as a back-up for the receptionist.
