Occupational Therapist Contract Opportunity Bring your expertise in occupational therapy to a dynamic hospital environment, where you'll play a pivotal role in patient rehabilitation and recovery. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program Experience delivering therapy services in a hospital or healthcare setting Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists Ability to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans Reliable organizational and documentation skills
Schedule
Full-time hours anticipated (40 hours per week)
Primary Responsibilities
Evaluate, plan, and administer occupational therapy treatments to patients experiencing physical, cognitive, or psychosocial limitations Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish goals and ensure coordinated care Educate patients and families on exercises, activities, and equipment to promote independence Monitor patient progress, adjusting interventions as clinically indicated Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies Participate in team meetings, patient care discussions, and continuing education
