Futures Clearing Operations Analyst

Job Description

Support daily futures and listed derivatives clearing operations

Manage daily margin processing, including initial margin, variation margin, and margin calls

Oversee cash management activities, including wire payments, cash movements, and funding requirements

Monitor clearing and settlement activity and resolve trade breaks, discrepancies, and operational exceptions

Support collateral management and ensure margin requirements are met within established deadlines

Work with clearinghouses, exchanges, brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth post trade operations

Reconcile cash and margin balances and investigate discrepancies

Support client clearing activity and the full trade lifecycle for exchange traded derivatives

Experience in futures clearing, listed derivatives, or exchange traded derivatives operations

Strong understanding of futures margin, cash management, collateral, and clearing and settlement processes

Hands on experience with daily margin processing, margin calls, and wire payments

Familiarity with clearinghouses such as CME, LCH, or ICE Clear

Ability to manage time sensitive transactions and resolve operational issues in a fast paced environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
