VP of Sales | Fiber & Broadband (MDU/HOA) | Florida | Base: ~$150,000 + $20 Per-Door Commission, $400k+ OTE | Back-End Incentive | On-site & Field

A well-funded fiber provider in Florida is hiring a VP of Sales to lead its commercial growth. The product already wins when it gets in front of a board. The opportunity is to put it in front of far more of them, and build the team that keeps doing it.

The Role

You lead sales into HOA and multi-dwelling communities across Florida. You personally lead the largest enterprise and portfolio opportunities, and you build and run the sales team behind them. You report directly to the CEO. You're based on-site, with roughly two days a week in the office and three in the field.

What you're actually building here

An enterprise channel with management companies, REITs, developers and cable consultants, where a single agreement can be worth thousands of units

HOA board presentations won without the CEO in the room, which is the single biggest constraint on growth today

A sales team of six to seven, assessed, rebuilt around its performers, and scaled to ten or more as new Florida markets open

An operating rhythm of follow-up discipline, self-generated pipeline and a clear view of which lead sources earn their place

Why Strong Operators Take This Seat

This is not a hard-sell product. The service is faster than what incumbents offer, and when the company presents, it wins at a rate the rest of the industry would not believe. What's missing is enough senior commercial capacity to get in front of more decision-makers.

The market is wide open. Incumbents still hold most of it, so growth here is set by sales capacity, not demand.

The upside is real. You earn $20 on every door contracted, plus a back-end incentive tied to units, so the right person can earn multiples of base. You sit directly beside the CEO, with funding in place and the brief to open new markets.

What the Role Requires

A verifiable record of closing multi-community or portfolio agreements with management companies, REITs or developers, evidenced in units or contract value

You've built and led a sales team. You've hired, coached and managed out sellers, not just carried a number

Executive presence with boards and principals. You've presented to HOA boards and senior stakeholders and won, without a founder or senior executive carrying the room

A true hunter. You generate pipeline personally rather than relying on inbound or inherited deal flow

Comfortable in a growing, founder-led business, owning whatever the business needs beyond the job description

Relationships across Florida's community association world are a real advantage. Bulk broadband experience helps but is not required

Based in, or willing to relocate to, South Florida. This is not a remote seat

What This Role Is Not For

Sales administrators who run metrics well but cannot command a room

Account managers whose book was inherited or inbound, and who have not had to generate their own pipeline

Brilliant closers who will not lead, coach or follow up

Anyone under an active non-compete or non-solicit covering Florida bulk broadband. This is screened at first contact

Operators who need big-corporate structure around them to perform

Compensation

Base salary up to $150,000, with flexibility for a candidate bringing an established Florida portfolio

Commission of $20 per door on every unit contracted.

At 20,000 units under contract, that is $400,000 on top of base

Back-end incentive tied to units contracted, earned after six months, with seven-figure potential

Relocation support available for the right candidate
