Position Summary

The Senior Financial Planning Associate leads the firm's financial planning process and planning team. This role is responsible for ensuring planning quality, developing planning strategies, mentoring planning staff, and supporting advisors in the delivery of comprehensive wealth management advice.

Primary

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the practice’s financial planning pipeline, planning workflows and processes

Train and mentor Financial Planning Associates

Assist with meeting preparation and post meeting action items

Gather, organize, and verify financial information

Identify planning issues, assumptions, risks, and opportunities

Build comprehensive financial plans and recommendations for Planner review

Ensure consistency and quality across planning deliverables

Attend client meetings as needed

Qualifications

Preferred

5+ years financial planning experience

CFP® designation preferred or pursuing designation

Experience with planning software such as Income Lab, eMoney, Holistiplan, Wealth, LPL software, etc.

Candidates with extensive experience utilizing planning software for scenario development, troubleshooting, and plan reconciliation will be strongly preferred.

Advanced knowledge within the Microsoft 365 suite and CRM systems

Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning concepts, scenarios, and outcomes

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments

Leadership experience preferred

Excellent organizational and communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Compensation Package

Starting salary:

$75,000+

Compensation will be commensurate with experience, credentials, licensing, and planning expertise
