Role: Medical Biller

Location

New York, NY 10037

Pay Range: $23-27/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: 13-week contract with a strong possibility of further extension

Interview: In-person interview required

What You'll Do

Review patient accounts and correct billing/claim edits
Prepare and submit paper & electronic claims
Process rejections, denials, and insurance correspondence
Handle insurance billing, follow-ups, and claim resolution
Process pre-authorizations and document responses
Audit patient accounts and apply adjustments as needed
Post payments and process patient statements
Follow up on past-due patient and insurance accounts
Provide billing-related customer service and document interactions

· Work with other departments to resolve billing issues

What We're Looking For

✅ Medical billing / backend billing experience

✅ Experience with

billing edits, claims processing & denial management

✅ Experience with

Epic and/or insurance billing systems

✅

High School Diploma or equivalent required (minimum)

✅ Must be available for an

in-person interview
