Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients, develop treatment and discharge plans, and deliver therapy aimed at improving patient independence in daily living skills. Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients according to physician orders and referrals. Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans based on patient needs and progress. Document therapy services accurately and in a timely manner. Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in alignment with practice acts and facility policies. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and their families. Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards across therapy practices.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Master of Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy). Active state Occupational Therapy license or the ability to obtain one. Strong clinical skills as well as proficiency in documentation and communication.
