Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee daily billing operations, ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoicing, and support the overall efficiency of the accounting function. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience managing billing processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key

Responsibilities

Oversee daily billing operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.

Supervise, train, and mentor billing team members.

Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.

Manage billing discrepancies, adjustments, and customer inquiries.

Partner with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve billing issues.

Monitor billing activities, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.

Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and reporting.

Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Develop and track billing KPIs, including invoice accuracy, timeliness, and outstanding billing issues.

Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and billing-related projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

4–6+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting experience.

Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.

Strong understanding of billing processes, invoicing, and accounting principles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

Qualifications

Experience overseeing high-volume or complex billing operations.

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Experience with billing automation and process improvement initiatives.

Knowledge of internal controls, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
