About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join a growing, multi-location organization on Long Island. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with leadership, handling complex employee matters, and helping strengthen day-to-day people operations. This is a hands-on opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee advocacy with business needs and wants to have a visible impact across an evolving organization.

Responsibilities

Partner with managers and senior leaders on a variety of employee and organizational needs.

Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on performance, workplace concerns, and corrective action.

Support hiring, new-hire integration, retention, and employee development efforts.

Help leaders identify staffing needs and develop practical workforce solutions.

Maintain compliance with employment regulations, internal policies, and HR practices.

Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and other people-focused programs.

Provide HR support across multiple locations throughout the region.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive human resources experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

Strong working knowledge of New York employment regulations and HR practices.

Experience managing employee relations and partnering directly with leadership.

Strong communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to travel periodically throughout Long Island.

Preferred Skills

Background supporting healthcare, multi-site, or similarly complex operations is preferred.
