Job Description

This is a first full-time job for a graduate who wants to learn international trade by doing it. As a Fresh Graduate Trainee at Global Shisha Tobacco you join the sales desk and start with the basics: reading a buyer's message, working out what is missing, and drafting the reply for an executive to approve.

Over the first months you learn how shisha tobacco is specified, what the four shipping terms mean and how import rules differ between, say, the UAE and Germany. Trainees who show accuracy and good English move into their own enquiries, and from there into a Sales Executive, Business Development or content position.

Salary: PKR 25,000 – 30,000 per month. Negotiable according to experience and skills.

Responsibilities

Draft replies and quotation details for sales executives to review
Look up destination rules in the company's country guides and summarise them for the buyer
Research importers and distributors in an assigned country
Update CRM records and prepare a short weekly progress note

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in any discipline, completed or with results awaited
Good written and spoken English
Comfort with spreadsheets, email and online research
Willingness to be corrected and to redo work
On site in E-11, Islamabad, Pakistan, 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM; working days confirmed at interview

Preferred

A degree in business, commerce, economics or international relations
An internship, part-time job or freelance work of any kind
