Shift/Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call)
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, biopsies, and DEXA scans according to the Department Procedure Manual.
Provide patient care, recognize critical conditions, and ensure accurate anatomical identification on all images.
Maintain quality assurance records and controls required by the ACR, the State, and credentialing organizations.
Practice radiation safety following ALARA principles.
Manage daily volume (30–40 total patients split between 2 rooms/2 techs) using Hologic equipment, Medinformatics, PACS, Fuji, and Magview, working alongside an on-site Radiologist.
Required Skills:
Completion of an accredited radiology program.
Current ARRT registration with Mammography certification — ARRT (M).
Active Tennessee (TN) State Licensure.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
