Corporate Accounting Manager
(Hybrid - Chicago)
Madison Street Search has partnered with a large, publicly traded organization to identify an Accounting Manager to join their Controllership team. This person will oversee a small team and play a key role in the monthly close, financial reporting, accounting operations, and cross-functional business partnership. The role will also support regulatory and audit requirements, process improvement initiatives, and various accounting projects while providing guidance and development to the team.
The office is located in downtown Chicago, and the team operates on a flexible hybrid schedule, including a fully remote week during each month-end close.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
8+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting
Big 4 public accounting experience, preferred
Prior experience within a large, publicly traded company environment
Demonstrated people management experience
CPA preferred
