Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative vertical turbine pump manufacturing projects while supporting some of the world's leading industrial brands. We are looking for an energetic, results-driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to a growing industry leader. Key Responsibilities
Review customer requirements and project specifications. Design, select, and create new vertical turbine pump solutions. Collaborate with the engineering team on concept development and project execution. Assist inside sales teams with completed designs and technical recommendations. Conduct pump performance analyses and establish design curves. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Provide technical support to sales teams and customers as needed. Prepare technical documentation, drawings, and related project materials.
Required
0-3+ Years of experience with BS degree or minimum of 3 years of mechanical engineering experience Experience in rotational equipment design, preferably pumps. Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks or similar design tools. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret specifications, customer requirements, P&IDs, drawings, and technical submittals. Understanding of pump hydraulics, pump construction, and system applications. Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience with vertical turbine pump design. Previous experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or process system applications. Customer-facing engineering experience. Skills & Competencies
