$100,000–$130,000 base salary

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a publicly traded company in the manufacturing sector seeking an experienced

Senior Accountant

to join its growing finance team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership while supporting financial reporting, cost accounting, and multi-entity accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong public accounting foundation, hands-on SEC reporting experience, and an understanding of manufacturing cost accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key

Responsibilities

Support SEC reporting requirements and preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Perform cost accounting functions related to manufacturing operations, including inventory valuation, cost analysis, and COGS.

Prepare and reconcile subsidiary financial statements and support consolidated financial reporting.

Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation adjustments.

Maintain accurate financial records and support internal controls and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Required

Qualifications

Active CPA license – Required

SEC reporting experience – Required

Big 4 public accounting experience highly preferred;

candidates with extensive public accounting experience outside the Big 4 may be considered.

Manufacturing cost accounting experience – Required

Experience with subsidiary financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany reconciliations.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
