Harmer Associates is partnering with a growing, multi-entity healthcare provider to find a Senior Manager of Accounting & Financial Reporting to run the engine room of their finance function. You’ll own the close, lead the team, and make the numbers something leadership can count on, all in a growing organization that’s making a difference in patient care.

The role in a nutshell

You’ll report directly to the VP & Controller and oversee accounting operations across multiple legal entities. Your scope covers the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, AP, fixed assets, inventory, intercompany accounting, and consolidated financial reporting.

What you’ll do

✅ Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and keep making it faster and cleaner

✅ Review reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals, and dig into the variances

✅ Prepare and review consolidated financials and management reporting

✅ Be the go-to for the annual audit and keep the books audit-ready year-round

✅ Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and segregation of duties

✅ Lead process improvement and automation, including ERP implementations and upgrades

✅ Coach, develop, and mentor the accounting team

✅ Support acquisitions, financing, due diligence, and other strategic projects

What you bring

Active CPA or CMA license (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

6+ years of audit and accounting experience (healthcare a big plus)

Sharp analytical thinking and excellent written and verbal communication

Public accounting experience a strong plus

A self-starter who thrives on running projects independently
