Onward Education is partnering with a local school district to hire

School Psychologists

for the

2026–2027 school year in Adams County, CO

. This is a fully in-person opportunity supporting students through evaluation services and IEP-focused social-emotional supports.

Brief Role Summary

In this role, you’ll provide both direct student support—including 1:1 services, small groups, and crisis support as needed—and evaluation/IEP services, including social-emotional evaluations, IEP development, and documentation. You may support Child Find programming and collaborate closely with school teams and families.

Responsibilities

Provide direct mental health services aligned to IEPs, including 1:1 meetings and social skills groups.

Develop FBAs and BIPs and support implementation.

Provide crisis support as needed.

Conduct social-emotional evaluations, support IEP development, and complete required documentation.

Deliver direct and indirect interventions for students requiring additional support.

Participate in Child Find evaluations; program details may vary by assignment.

Possible Assignment Focuses

Child Find Evaluation Team support at an elementary site.

District-level bilingual Child Find evaluations across multiple evaluation locations. This could align for a bilingual School Psychologist; in some cases, this need may also be met by a bilingual ECSE teacher, depending on assignment.

Qualifications

Colorado School Psychologist license (CO PSYCH)

SSP (Special Service Provider) certification

Ability to work fully in-person

Experience with evaluations, IEP processes, FBAs/BIPs, and school-based mental health supports preferred
