The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience in a surgical specialty and will be proficient in providing support before, during, and after surgical procedures. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the surgical team by preparing the operating room and ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and in working order. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols. Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and assist with various procedures as needed. Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring proper handling and usage. Participate in patient care before, during, and after surgical interventions. QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of recent surgical technologist experience within specialty. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred certifications: National Board of Surgical Technologists and Surgical Assists (NBSTA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
